Selective Land Clearing in Killingly

Scope of Work

• Selective tree marking with owner walk-through
• Forestry mulching of brush and small trees
• Stump grinding to below grade
• Burn pile management and debris haul-off

Challenges

The owner asked us to save a 30-foot band of tall pines along the road and to steer well clear of a small wetland tucked into the southeast corner. We flagged the buffer by hand and kept the mulcher a full tree-length back from the wetland markers the whole time.

Outcome

The buildable ground came out clean, the pine screen stayed put, and the wetland was never touched. The owner listed the lot on the local Plainfield-area builder board and had three foundation bids in hand within a week.
